Popping the Science Bubble

Date:

Why does so much of science stay trapped inside the lab?

In this public talk at the Berkeley Public Library, I explored the invisible walls that keep scientific ideas circulating only among specialists—and what it takes to pop that bubble. We talked about why science communication matters, how jargon and gatekeeping quietly shut people out, and what scientists (and everyone else) can do to make discovery feel like a shared, accessible adventure rather than a members-only club.

Embedded below are the slides from the talk.
